Wendy a legend in Welsh netball. I had the honour of playing with her in the early sixties and later for her at World Tournaments. She nurtured so many young players at Barrians who later went on to become international players and coaches. She managed to get the very best from her players because she always believed in them. She was "Simply the Best". She shared my love of horses having worked at the Broome stable at the time David Broome won a bronze medal on Sunsalve in 1960 Rome Olympics. Wendy also introduced me to my love of Puccini in the form of La Boheme "Beautiful music for a beautiful person" Sleep peacefully Wend xx Maria P.
