16/8/16 Dear Catherine, Sarah & the Welsh Netball Board, I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Wendy White this week and I wanted to convey to you my deepest condolences at this difficult time. During my tenure with WN, Wendy was everything that the many messages on social media have said she was; kind, considerate, inspiring, thoughtful, knowledgeable, passionate and much much more. During my first couple of weeks in the CEO role, Wendy was generous enough to ensure that I understood the history of the organisation and her memories of its developments over the 50years of her involvement. This was an incredibly powerful insight into how Wendy had played such a central role in furtherance of a sport she dearly loved. I hope that, as part of Wendy’s legacy, special efforts will be made to enshrine the magical knowledge that Wendy held so dearly – in particular the paper filed records of Welsh caps. If you would be so kind as to share the funeral arrangement with me so that I can send flowers I would be very grateful. With condolences Mike Watson
